I know I need help, but where do I start?
To schedule an appointment to discuss your needs, please call 561-473-5723 or email healinghands@healinghandshs.com. We can speak with you over the phone, in our office, at the hospital, or at your home. Our administrator will conduct an initial assessment of your requirements and explain how we can best serve you in most cases. This includes reviewing your medical history and physician orders or determining your workforce’s strong and weak areas. When you decide to use our services, the administrator will develop a personalized care plan to meet your unique care or staffing needs. The Admin will also have you sign authorization forms to initiate the plan of care or staffing.
Will my insurance cover your services?
Because insurance policies differ, we cannot say with certainty which companies will cover our services. However, most Long-Term Care policies cover our services. Traditional health insurance policies have a lower level of predictability. However, we are delighted to accommodate you in navigating the insurance process to determine what benefits you may be eligible for.
Is your service covered by Medicare?
Medicare-certified home healthcare agencies are companies contracted by Medicare to provide a host of covered home health services. Medicare only pays for services provided by an agency that meets its quality standards. A senior who’s part of a Medicare Advantage plan may have to use a certified home health care agency that participates in their plan’s network. If you have Medicare and cover home healthcare services, choosing one of their authorized providers may be financially advantageous. We are an Accredited Medicare Home Health Agency  Provider. HEALING HANDS HEALTH SERVICES LLC may assist you by having a nurse care for you in your home if you require additional care beyond what Medicare covers and/or if it prevents or delays your admission to the hospital or an extended care facility. We are happy to collaborate with any current specialist or personal physicians to ensure that all of your needs are met.
Does your service cover Medicaid?
We accept all Medicaid Long Term Managed Care serving Region 9… such as APD Waiver Medicaid; Humana Long Term Care; Florida Community Care; Sunshine Health Long Term Care; Simply Healthcare Long-Term Care; and AmeriHealth Caritas Long Term Care. Our finance manager shall gladly answer all your questions concerning your policy and shall also get on a call with you and your insurance company to authenticate and cross-check your benefits so that you are well aware of what is exactly covered in the policy. HEALING HANDS HEALTH SERVICES LLC will work with your insurance and we are very flexible. We will try our best to help you and your loved ones.
Can I use you as my provider if I qualify for services from a local aging agency?

They will then notify us, and we will be able to begin services.
How do you source and screen your employees?
Most of our employees are referred to us by our healthcare industry colleagues or current employees. Applicants must have prior experience providing patient care and pass a background check, drug test, national sexual offender check, and department of motor vehicle record check to be considered for employment with us. Every time we consider employing an applicant, we verify at least two professional and personal references. We handpick every person we welcome to be a part of our team because we expect nothing less than quality from our staff.
What is the best way for me to pay for services?
Our contract will be signed by the person responsible for service payment. Invoices are mailed out once a week. Payments must be returned to our office within seven days, either by mail or in person. Before initiating services, a deposit may be requested. Caregivers are not permitted to receive remuneration for their services. We only take checks. If you can only pay by credit card, please contact our office to see if we may make special arrangements for you. If you have insurance, we will charge it straight to your insurance company. If you are an area agency on aging clients, we will bill them directly, and therefore you will not receive a bill from us.
How much do you charge?
Our administrator will do an in-home assessment with each client to develop a personalized care plan. Hourly prices for caregivers and nurses vary according to the amount of care and total hours required. We endeavor to provide reasonable pricing without sacrificing care quality. How Do You Assess the Reliability of Your Aides?
One of the prerequisites for the caregivers to get hired by us requires them to have two years of prior work experience. In addition to this, we run thorough background checks and carry out in-depth research of their previous work experience. We invite them to take our written test in order to become a representative of HEALING HANDS HEALTH SERVICES LLC. The last step consists of an extensive certification process and orientation before we send any of our staff to our client’s home.
How Does My Caregiver Know What Kind of Help I Need?
The case managers at HEALING HANDS HEALTH SERVICES LLC make it a point that all the caregivers are thoroughly aware of your condition when they are assigned the case by giving them a detailed report of your health condition. Please feel free to always reach out with your feedback. We appreciate them and learn from them.
If I Have Additional Questions after Office Hours, What Do I Do?
We are dedicated to providing you with the best Home Health Care possible.
